I'm glad I didn't have to deal with those smokey fires on damp, cold days. This subject works great in monochrome.

Fascinating. My first thought was that the "good old days" were probably not that good!

Actually, I know that from my experience with the outhouse on grandman's farm in northern Minnesota!

Great shot! I really like the tone of this picture - almost like sepia is the actual colour of the objects.
